Thanks for the response Ricardo. Actually I've read that. Nosotros're non using Office 365 (yet) and I tin can't figure out what other "business concern services" nosotros might be connected to. It acts like it recognizes our administrative email accost simply as I click into information technology, it tells me that business relationship doesn't exist. I haven't been able to find whatever documentation yet, that presents the path I demand to take, in response to the change Microsoft has made. It'south a little frustrating to say the least.

Obviously, Microsoft is short sighted. I have services with Microsoft. I am likewise the IT support for other companies. Those companies chose to besides have microsoft services (365). A user/customer tasks me with upgrading their Windows 10 Habitation to Pro.
Going to the Microsoft store to purchase Win 10 requires a non business Microsoft ID to complete purchase. Can't use the stop user'south email since they already have MS services. Can't employ my email accost since I as well take microsoft services! If forced to create a new outlook.com account, who gets the email notifications? Oh.. how nearly another workaround? Just forward e-mail from outlook.com to work accout... all this to avert confusion of piece of work/personal accounts? wow! In the cease, no account was used to check out. There has to be a better solution!

Ran into a similar problem yesterday. Client has O365 hosted email. They purchased Role 2016 production key cards and need to activate at function.com. They cannot use their work e-mail to activate at function.com. We had to create a generic company *** E-mail address is removed for privacy *** just to activate Office licenses.
Idiotic determination by Microsoft to do this.
